Welcome to Eufaula, Oklahoma, the county seat of McIntosh County. Located on the Missouri, Kansas & Texas Railway…12 miles south of Interstate 40 at the crossroads of US Highway 69 and Oklahoma State Highway 9, Eufaula, Oklahoma, sits amid the picturesque Eufaula Cove. The city is also one-half-of-a-mile east of the significant tribal community North Fork Town, which was settled by the Creek Indians in 1836. Today, the Town is covered by Lake Eufaula – the largest lake in the state. Residents benefit from a reasonable cost of living, gorgeous park sites, quality educational facilities, Community Hospital Lakeview, a wealth of Indian outlaw and Civil War history and vast recreational opportunities.
