Our forums are heating up, and Eufaula is filling up! Tents started popping up around the lakeshore two days ago. Main Street looked like a parking lot this afternoon. Happy 4th!

Jul 13, 2008: Amplified Heat at The Conservatory
Austin, Texas' AMPLIFIED HEAT Rocknroll Knockout 07/13 The Conservatory Press Release
- For Immediate Release -
-- Oklahoma City, Oklahoma --
AMPLIFIED HEAT is on the books to unload a one-two punch of rocknroll in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma in the midst of their Summer tour for 2008 on Sunday, July 13th. Before the Mid-West & East get a dose of THE HEAT, the boys come straight from their homebase in Austin, TEXAS to lower the boom with what has become their trademark one-part rent party & one-part rocknroll event. At 8pm The Conservatory's roof will rattle & shake, heavy with boogie during THE HEAT's fervent performance of their hot catalogue, complete with the loudest, largest stack of Fender amps ever seen between the club walls. In-between several bouts of touring, such appearances with the notable likes of psychedelic TEXAS pioneer Roky Erickson & S.F. Bay Area rock icons Blue Cheer, & serious Austin throwdowns of their Arclight Records 2007 release "How Do You Like The Sound Of That", AMPLIFIED HEAT remains true to their direct assignment to turn you on. This high voltage date comes as the cusp of AMPLIFIED HEAT's commitment to summon their electric boogie roots. Fueled with the desire to lessen the metal & champion the boogie groove, the Ortiz brothers are exhuming their 2000-2002 material of their first incarnation as BLUES CONDITION. These tunes will emerge homegrown - re-mixed, re-mastered, & rare on a single compilation release onto it's own, as well as the next brand new album in the works, & as a straight shot experience live at each show. You can witness the rock fever fury of AMPLIFIED HEAT live at The Conservatory July 13th. Come ready for the knockout. Come ready to rip it up! Gonna be a rockNroll RIOT. AMPLIFIED HEAT delivers NOTHING less.
